About Us

Welcome to St. Pius X Chapel, the new permanent home of the Society of St. Pius X in the Washington, D.C., area. We are located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, in suburban Prince George’s County, minutes from the Capital Beltway, Joint Base Andrews and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

The Traditional Latin Mass according to the 1962 Missal is offered each Sunday at 9:30 am. Before Sunday Mass, confessions are heard beginning at 8:45 am, and the Rosary is said at 9:00 in the chapel. A social gathering is held in the chapel hall after Sunday Mass.


Forthcoming Masses and Events

Saturday, February 15, is a Saturday of Our Lady. Mass will be offered at 6:00 pm.

Sunday, February 16, is Sexagesima Sunday. Mass will be offered at 9:30 am. A second collection will be taken up to benefit St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, which trains the Society’s priests and supplies priests to our chapel.

Saturday, February 22, is the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter at Antioch. Mass will be offered at 6:00 pm.

Sunday, February 23, is Quinquagesima Sunday. Mass will be offered at 9:30 am.
